Founder
Brock Drevlow

Brock Drevlow is the Founder of AdagioX. It was while attending his core freshman classes at Peabody Conservatory that Brock first imagined a more engaging and effective approach to retaining dense, critical class information. This approach culminated into the founding of AdagioX in 2020. Today, Brock oversees all facets of AdagioX's global output including creative, production, marketing, operations, and business affairs. Brock champions modernizing and re-imagining the student/studying experience. Brock has an extensive background in music, marketing, and technology. Additionally, he has held key marketing roles at leading-edge, innovative technology companies, including LocaLoop Inc. and Starkey Hearing Technologies. Brock holds a B.M. in Double Bass from the University of Minnesota.

Sheyenne Johnson

Sheyenne Johnson is the Artist behind the elaborate artwork at AdagioX. Since graduating from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 2020, Sheyenne has focused on work that incorporates bright colors, childlike designs, and innocent dialogue to connect with viewers in a more sincere way.

Musicologist
Dr. Jonas Westover

Dr. Jonas Westover (Ph.D., City University of New York 2010) is the Head Musicologist at AdagioX. Jonas has written over 400 entries for the Grove Dictionary of American Music and is the author of The Shuberts and their Passing Shows: The Untold Tale of Ziegfeld’s Rivals (Oxford University Press, 2016). Prior to Joining AdagioX, Jonas taught at numerous New York and Minnesota colleges and universities. Jonas is a lifelong fan of Marvel Comics--the X-Men, to be specific--enjoys longer-than-expected hikes, Vermont, and the company of cats.
